As we embark on a new adventure of transforming PaulCamper into a truly agile company, we are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to support our new work mode and our newly set-up cross-functional teams.
Please note this as this a remote position you must be based in the timezones between GMT -1 to GMT +5.
Your Mission
You design, implement, debug and cover with tests solutions in a cross functional team.
You break down requirements in accordance with platform architecture.
Write maintainable, self-documented, domain driven code and evolve existing codebase.
You find optimal solutions, communicate it with the team and take care about software development life cycle.
You make sure PaulCamper's software is growing both in terms of quality and performance.
Your Travel Experience
You have strong Go language coding, testing and debugging abilities.
You have strong understanding of data structures and algorithms as well as proficient design patterns knowledge.
You have at least 3 years of production backend development (at least one year in Go).
You understand service architecture.
You are proficient with PostgreSQL database.
You know how to make your solutions secure, observable and performant.
You are a team player ready to take ownership and manage your time.
You are fluent in English.
